Austin Dodson Announces Candidacy for Overton County Executive as Republican

My name is Austin Dodson, and I’m proud to officially announce my candidacy for Overton County Executive on the Republican ticket.

With over seven years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, I have spent my career making critical decisions under pressure, advocating for others, and serving people during their most vulnerable moments. That same spirit of service is what drives my commitment to the people of Overton County.

As a lifelong conservative, I’m running to bring accountability, transparency, and strong, principled leadership back to local government. My campaign will focus on common-sense solutions, responsible fiscal management, and ensuring that every voice in our county is respected and heard.
